HEADBANG OR GTFO!!!!!!!!!

Jeff Kendrick (Devildriver) Recently Had His Guitar Stolen

Guitar is similar to this one, not exact though

Well damn. Someone just straight up left the venue with Kendrick’s red ESP Horizon that apparently he especially uses for a certain song while playing live. The theft happened in Joliet, IL after the band performed. If you happen to see this man (pictured below, click to enlarge) then get a hold of authority and report the suspect. Get Jeff his guitar back!

I Don’t Know What The ECHO Awards Are But Seeing RAMMSTEIN Perform With MARILYN MANSON Is Pretty Sweet

It’s like 1997 all up in that bitch. Here is Rammstein playing “The Beautiful People” with Marilyn Manson on the microphone.

GALAKTIKON: Brendon Small’s (Dethklok) Sweet Metal Project Contains Some Impressive Music And Vocals!

It’s obvious that Brendon Small is a genius and ultra talented person. He managed to create a bad ass metal cartoon show with actual music that he himself made, went on tour under the Dethklok name and lived like a rock star with one of the coolest tour buses I’ve ever seen. Now Mr. Small is putting out another big hit, this time with his new project Galaktikon and I must say….bravo. I didn’t know what to expect but I had a feeling it would just sound like Dethklok. Well…no actually, not even close. The song “On My Way” has no death metal vocals or even super fast tremolo picking and blast beats. It features some great riffs, sweet licks and a groovy bass line. Drums are great and the coolest thing about the vocals is there is actual singing going on. It’s like Snakes n Barrels meets Devin Townsend in a weird way. Just listen to the song, you’ll dig it.

Emo Hair & Lipstick: MARILYN MANSON Reveals Album Art For “Born Villain”, Tracklist details

Not much to say really, it’s Manson cover art. Nothing exciting, more underwhelming than anything. Then again Manson self portrait has always been the main focus on his cover art, just with make up and bullshit splashed all over him. Not really creative at all.

MELECHESH To Release Digital EP

Blackened thrash band Melechesh will be releasing a 3 song EP called “Mystics of the Pillar II” on April 27th in Europe and May 1st in North America via Nuclear Blast Records.

EP tracklist:

01. Mystics Of The Pillar (Alternate Ending)
02. Sacred Geometry (Instrumental)
03. The Epigenesis (Instrumental)

Ashmedi of Melechesh commented: “We recorded two different ending version of ‘Mystics Of The Pillar’ — this one changes tempo and picks up steam. Why? Because we felt like it; a song with two different endings is not too common in this day and age. Last minute we chose one to be included on the album, thus the second version was not mixed and mastered ’till a much later date. We also decided to release a couple of instrumental versions to our songs, namely ‘The Epigenesis’ title track, which is a 12-13 minute epic, and ‘Sacred Geometry’. Both are multifaceted and work perfect just as instrumental works. We actually have an instrumental version of the entire album mixed and mastered so enjoy these couple of tracks.”

MARILYN MANSON Sets Release Date For New Album “Born Villain”

90′s mega rocker Marilyn Manson has finally set a release date for his up coming album, “Born Villain”. The album will drop April 30th via

“The new record put simply has the ambition and determination of how I started making music in the first place,” said Manson. “It sounds like the first record in that it’s not afraid to do anything. I had to remove myself from my lifestyle and start fresh.”

Looks As If JESSE LEACH Is Back In KILLSWITCH ENGAGE

If you head on over to Killswitchengage.com you’ll see a very comforting and almost Foo Fighters-ish vibe photo of the original vocalist laughing it up with the rest of the band. The band is just laughing it up in a snow covered wooded area, good place for a quick joke right? Nothing has been truly confirmed and no official statement has been made yet but this photo looks very promising. Maybe they are laughing because everyone will assume and we’ll all be wrong? Who knows!? It just makes sense that Leach would return and reclaim his throne in KSE.

Hopefully with this new pending vocalist thing, KSE as a whole will pick it up and play some kick ass music. I haven’t given a rats ass about KSE since 2006 and maybe now they can come up with some interesting and listenable music!

THE FACELESS Confirmed For THE SUMMER SLAUGHTER TOUR

Who didn’t see this one coming eh? Who’s next? Dying Fetus? Well so far we have Cannibal Corpse, Between the Buried and Me & The Faceless. Stay tuned for more bands to be announced. Rumors are going around and Veil of Maya, Exhumed, Structures and Periphery may or may not be on this years festival tour.

PAUL WARDINGHAM – New Album Coming Soon!

Paul Wardingham Announces Forthcoming Release ‘The Human Affliction’

Australian guitar shredder and producer, Paul Wardingham, has announced ‘The Human Affliction’ as the title of his new instrumental cyber metal album.

Wardingham, who released his acclaimed debut ‘Assimilate Regenerate’ in 2011 through Enigmatic Records, says this second full-length will be a concept album.

“I wasn’t planning on making an album like this for a few years, but the music began to take on a life of its own and a story materialized from the themes of each track” says Wardingham. “Assimilate Regenerate was conceptual in that it was inspired by science fiction, future technology and the effect it has on society, and I have always had visual references in my mind associated to the music I write, so it feels quite natural to progress to an album like this.”

More info after the jump.
